India's first banking merger

Tata Industrial Bank - Central Bank of India

Tata Industrial Bank Limited is a Public incorporated on 11 December 1917.
But later it ran into trouble.
Amalgamated with Central Bank of India in the year 1923.
It was one of the first merger in India's banking history.
