Why do we Rarely see Windows in Super Markets?

  • The lack of window is a part of retail shopping psychology, as buyers are less likely to notice bad weather or approaching darkness.
  • Then they spend more money the longer they shop
  • By replacing valuable wall space with windows, sellers would have fewer options for product showcases.
  • The exposure to sunlight through large window could cause fading of product packages, causing consumers to perceive them as worn.
